COLLABORATIVE LAW RESOURCES
NEW JERSEY COLLABORATIVE DIVORCE ALLIANCE
This non-profit organization was started in September, 2007
as a group desiring to promote the collaborative practice and educate the public as to the advantages of collaborative divorce
in New Jersey. Collaborative law is what New Jersey Courts consider an Alternate Dispute Resolution process. Litigation
is never a win for either party. With the establishment of NJCDA, there is a network of dedicated, independent professionals who have been trained in the same process
and who truly believe in the same vision of Collaborative Law or Collaborative Divorce providing an enlightened alternative
to dissolving a partnership. The NJCDA vision is to help the clients learn new communication skills, techniques for creative problem-solving
and to grow throughout the divorce process so that the clients can be better individuals and better co-parents.
The independent professionals will be advocates not only for their
clients but advocates for this dynamic family growth. Each client can choose an advocate and avoid any conflicts of
interest.
